| The Global Conference on Women in Agri-Food Systems (GCWAS-2026) brought together global researchers and practitioners to discuss inclusive and sustainable water and agri-food systems. The International Water Management Institute (IWMI) actively contributed to the dialogue through invited talks, presentations, and research posters.
Darshini Ravindranath delivered an invited lecture on solar energy access and gender-responsive pathways in agri-food systems, highlighting how clean energy solutions can support inclusive agricultural transformation. IWMI researchers also showcased several posters addressing gender, sustainability, and livelihoods, including Scaling Solar Energy through Gender Equality and Social Inclusion: Insights from South Asia. |
