Inception Workshop 2020

The SoLAR- SA project was formally launched at IWMI headquarter in Colombo, Sri Lanka, from 21-22 January 2020, wherein a two-day inception workshop was organised. The objectives of the workshop included:

To discuss and finalise year-1 work plan in consultation with various partners and stakeholders
To enhance the understanding of how this project fits within the broader policy landscape of agricultural and irrigation transitions in general and solar irrigation in particular.

The outcome of this workshop was an inception report.
