Where we work

PHASE II

SoLAR Phase II is implemented in four countries in South Asia and East Africa: India, Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Kenya. The programme works closely with government agencies, development partners, private companies, and research organisations. It collaborates directly with national and state bodies that design solar irrigation policies and run large programmes on the ground.

Through these partnerships, SoLAR Phase II supports evidence-based policy design, develops practical and inclusive financing options, strengthens institutions and local capacities, and pilots’ solar agriculture solutions that can be scaled. The aim is to promote climate resilience, equity and long-term sustainability across different farming and ecological settings.
