 op aims to bring policymakers\, researchers\, the private sector\, develop
 ment partners\, civil society\, and other key stakeholders together to eng
 age in a science-policy dialogue on scaling solar irrigation programs that
  focuses on inclusion and sustainability.\n\nThe Alternative Energy Promot
 ion Centre (AEPC) is the nodal government agency in charge of implementing
  solar irrigation subsidy programs under the Renewable Energy Policy and S
 ubsidy Delivery Mechanism. Under the SoLAR project in Nepal\, IWMI collabo
 rated with AEPC and other key stakeholders to assess the impact of the gov
 ernment’s solar irrigation programs and explore avenues to scale solar i
 rrigation in the country while ensuring inclusivity and sustainability.\n\
 nObjectives\n\nThe key objectives of the National level Science-Policy Dia
 logue on Solar Irrigation are:\n\n1. Provide a platform to exchange knowle
 dge on solar irrigation in Nepal.\n2. Facilitate policy dialogues with pol
 icymakers\, development partners\, and stakeholders to improve the governm
 ent’s solar irrigation initiatives and make them more socially inclusive
 \, scalable\, and sustainable.\n3. Identify key gaps in research and oppor
 tunities for future work in Nepal’s solar irrigation sector.\n\nThe work
 shop will be organized as a 1-day event focused on solar irrigation in Nep
 al with three thematic areas. Each thematic session will have 1-3 presenta
 tions and a Panel discussion.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nPast Event\n\n
